Privacy
What we store, why, and how to ask us to delete it. Version of November 3, 2026.
This is a courtesy translation. In case of any discrepancy between this text and the Spanish version, the Spanish version prevails.
Who is responsible
Rayyan Arif Khan Montoya, Trujillo, Peru. Privacy contact: rayyan@komusoftware.com. We process your data in accordance with the Ley N.º 29733 de Protección de Datos Personales (Peruvian Personal Data Protection Law No. 29733) and its regulations.
What we store and why
- Your account: your email, your name and what you do for a living (if you enter them), when you signed up, which link you came from, and your price. We use this so you can sign in with a code, to give you your price, and to write to you about your account.
- Your payment: processed by Whop. We only receive whether your subscription is active, its plan, and its dates; never your card details.
- The app: the name and operating system of your devices (for the limit of 2), the app version, and when you last opened it. If you answer the onboarding questions (what videos you want to make, your experience), we store that too, to show you first what is most useful to you.
- What you send us: a bug report or an idea, with a screenshot of the window if you turn that on. Note: that screenshot may show the conversation with your AI that was on screen. Your file paths and email addresses are removed from the text before it is saved.
- Automatic error reports: only if you turn them on in Settings → Privacy. They contain no personal data.
- Security: a fingerprint (hash) of your IP address (not the IP itself) to prevent abuse, and sign-in and payment logs.
- Complaints: what you write in the Libro de Reclamaciones (official complaints book), as required by law.
What we do not store
Your videos, your files, your brand, and your conversations with your AI stay on your computer. Estudio opens the official version of Claude Code, Codex, or Gemini CLI with your own account: we do not see your password or what you ask it. Your ElevenLabs key, if you use one, is stored encrypted on your computer. When your AI queries Estudio’s reference library, we receive that search in order to answer it, without storing it under your name.
Who it is shared with
Only with those who help us provide the service: Whop (payments), Resend (email delivery), and our server. Whop and Resend are located in the United States, so that data leaves Peru for that purpose. We do not sell your data or use it for third-party advertising.
Emails
We write to you to send your code, confirm your spot and your payment, notify you before a charge, and let you know when Estudio launches. News emails include a link to unsubscribe.
Cookies
We use two cookies: the one that keeps your session open on this website and, if you choose a language in the footer, the one that remembers it. We do not use advertising cookies.
How long
Your account data, for as long as you have an account. Security logs, up to 13 months. Payment and complaint data, for as long as the law requires.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, or delete your data, or object to our use of it (ARCO rights: access, rectification, cancellation, and opposition). You can delete your account yourself from your account, or write to us at rayyan@komusoftware.com. We will respond within the time limits set by law. If you disagree with our response, you may contact the Autoridad Nacional de Protección de Datos Personales (Peru’s National Authority for Personal Data Protection).
Minors
Estudio is for people 18 and older, or minors with the permission of their parent or legal guardian.
